Dr. Eskiyoruk is an academic at Altinbas University Law Faculty and Adana BTÜ Faculty of Social Sciences and Fellow at Ministry of Turkey. He has been acted as an Arbitrator, Counsel and Legal Expert in LCIA, ICC, TOBB, and ICA arbitrations. Dr. Eskiyörük was a Founding President of TBB (Union of Turkish Bars) Arbitration Center and TBMM Legislation Commission Delegate of Istanbul Arbitration Center (ISTAC) Act. Dr. Eskiyoruk is a member of Working Group of ICC National Committee (Turkey) on Arbitration, listed as Arbitrator at TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey), General Secretary of ILA (International Law Association) Turkish Branch, Lecturer and Fellow of CIArb (Chartered Institute of Arbitrator) and Member of IBA (International Bar Association) Arbitration Subcommittee and Trainer at Istanbul Bar Associations’ Trainee Education Centers.
He did his Ph.D. in Law at the University of London (IALS) on International Dispute Resolution. Dr Eskiyoruk was visiting academic at Georgetown University, Washington DC, and the University of Cologne in Germany also did Legal Research at Harvard University and Private Law Institute of Oslo University. He has got Certificate on The Settlement of Disputes under the World Trade Organization (WTO) from UNITAR, Certificate on the Settlement of Investment Disputes from World Trade Institute and University of Bern, Advanced Course on Arbitration and Mediation under the WIPO Rules from World Intellectual Property Organization and Certificate on International Commercial Arbitration from Cologne University.
Dr. Eskiyoruk is a member of IDR Group (UK), Institute of World Business Law (ICC), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), International Bar Association (IBA), British Turkish Lawyers Association (BTLA), London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMMA) Supp., International Law Association (ILA), International Law Institute (ILI) Istanbul, ICDR Y&I, ArbAut YAAP, LCIA YIAG. He is focused on Private International Law, Arbitration, International Commercial Law and International Construction Law.
