Aysu Düz graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Law in 2015. During her undergraduate, she worked in several law firms as a summer intern. After graduation, she completed her legal internship, while working in Yasaman Law Firm. Then, as a licensed lawyer by Istanbul Bar Association, she continued her professional career in Yasaman Law Firm. Working with Prof. Dr. Hamdi Yasaman, who is one of the most reputable professors in Turkish Law, provides her many signicant skills and expands her vision for her future career. She has experienced mainly in commercial law and intellectual property law. She has provided both consultancy and litigation services to clients. She has drafted petitions and a wide range of memoranda, attended court hearings and meetings with clients, and also commenced execution proceedings.
Afterwards, she finished her LL.M. degree at University of Kent, UK in the area of intellectual property law and international commercial law in 2018, with a Distinction. She wrote her dissertation regarding “The Rights of Individuals in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)”. She is interested in data protection, privacy and technology law.
