Barış is a research assistant in commercial law chamber and qualified lawyer who focuses on agency and distributorship law, intellectual property law, personal data protection law and international commercial law. He advises both international and domestic companies and law firms regarding abovementioned fields of law.
During his undergraduate, he worked in international law firms as a summer intern. As an undergraduate student, Barış has participated in the prestigious “Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court”. Also, he attended the intensive speaking course in Germany, as a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship holder.
After graduation, he completed his legal internship and continued his professional career in a specialist law firm in international dispute settlement, recognized for its practice in arbitration, cross-border litigation and ADR. The firm’s portfolio includes disputes arising from construction and energy projects, shipping contracts, mergers & acquisitions, agency and distributorship agreements, loan agreements and employment relationships. In addition, Barış worked in several applications before the European Court of Human Rights for violations of the right to fair trial and right to property.
