Özge Gülşen Kösem

Özge Gülşen Kösem is an accomplished senior in-house lawyer and compliance leader, currently serving as Head of Legal & Compliance for Danone Türkiye, Central Asia and the Caucasus. She joined Danone in January 2023 after spending more than 12 years at Mondelēz International, where she held senior legal positions and developed broad expertise across commercial law, compliance, data privacy, corporate governance, intellectual property and competition matters. At Danone, Kösem leads a sizeable legal and compliance team and has been involved in significant matters including intellectual property disputes, cross-border corporate restructuring, labour disputes and competition-law investigations. She can be characterised as a strategic, commercially focused legal leader who combines deep technical expertise with an ability to manage complex regulatory matters, develop strong legal teams and position the legal function as an active business partner rather than simply a risk-control function.
