Organised by Barış Agun Business Development Agency, the evening has been created specifically for Türkiye’s in-house legal counsel community. It will bring together general counsel, legal directors, heads of legal, senior in-house lawyers and emerging legal leaders from across a wide range of sectors.
The evening will feature a panel discussion with four guest speakers from across Türkiye’s in-house legal community, moderated by the supporting partner. The conversation will focus on leadership, career progression, women in in-house legal leadership, diversity and inclusion, workplace culture, the evolving role of general counsel, and the relationship between legal teams and external advisers.
The panel will be followed by a networking reception with drinks and canapés, giving guests the opportunity to continue the conversation and connect with peers from across Türkiye’s legal counsel community.

Background
Women in Law Türkiye is an initiative originally created by Barış Agun in 2022 with the aim of creating a stronger platform for conversations around women in law, diversity, inclusion and leadership across the Turkish legal sector. A series of events followed in İzmir and Istanbul, culminating in a major Women in Law panel at his two-day GC conference in Istanbul in December 2023, attended by more than 180 members of the in-house legal counsel community.
Since the establishment of Barış Agun Business Development Agency, Women in Law Türkiye has continued as an independent initiative and standalone brand.
Barış Agun remains deeply committed to supporting diversity and inclusion across the Turkish legal sector and to recognising the outstanding work being done by women across Türkiye’s in-house legal community.
