Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Jr. Specialist with 1-3 years of working experience to join our team.
The role is an integral part of the Firm's Business Development team, focusing on daily Business Development, Marketing and Communications (BDMC) operational activities mostly that strengthen the Firm's profile in the market, overseeing the maintenance of business development infrastructure.
Main daily tasks
- The job description and the skills required for the position are as follows:
- Work in harmony with the BD Team and our Practice Groups to support the full proposal life-cycle
- Assist team with various periodical legal directories submissions process
- Organize and monitor back-to-front e-mail marketing function and legal alerts process
- Pro-actively manage digital marketing contents (i.e. LinkedIn)
- Work with the Business Development Director (and the team) to develop, organize, coordinate and execute ad-hoc market research and analysis in the Turkish market (when required)
- Monitor the developments, activities and operations of clients and prospective clients, to help identify potential opportunities for practices, industry groups or offices
Requirements
- University Degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, IT, Finance, Law or related studies)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English as well as Turkish; strong reporting skills
- Law degree or being registered with a bar is not a requirement
- Knowledge of particular aspects of global business and corporations, the law and legal/professional services markets, and transactional and financial markets an advantage
Technical & Personal skills
- Strong data and computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva)
- Strong judgment and ability to make well-reasoned independent decisions with minimum guidance
- Comfortable working across multiple cultures and time zones in a matrix organization
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills, including a pleasant nature, and demonstrated ability to work with a team and independently
- Excellent organizational skills with a detailed-oriented approach, good project management skills and strong client service orientation with an interest in commercial and business issues
