Arpat Senocak is a partner of Özdirekcan Dündar Senocak Ak.

He specialises in merger & acquisition transactions and in the structuring of investments. Arpat has been advising Turkish and international investors for close to 20 years in various business areas, with a specific focus on regulated sectors such as financial services (banking, insurance) and energy (oil & gas, renewable energy). He gained significant experience in the handling of multijurisdictional transactions during his secondment at Gide's Paris M&A department, during which he advised on a number of cross-border transactions. In this context, Arpat also regularly assists Turkish clients in the scope of their outbound investments and M&A transactions abroad.

Admitted to the Neuchâtel (Switzerland) Bar in 2003 and to the Istanbul (Turkey) Bar in 2008, he is a graduate from the Neuchâtel University Law School and holds an equivalency degree from the Istanbul University Law School. Arpat has been chairing the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Turkey since 2016.

A Circular of the General Directorate of Domestic Trade on Minimum Share Capital Amounts Has Been Published

According to Articles 332 and 580 of the TCC, the minimum share capital amounts of joint stock and limited companies can be increased by Presidential decree.
