İrem is an associate of Biçer Güner, admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association in October 2023. After obtaining her LL.B degree from Bilkent University Faculty of Law in 2022, İrem successfully completed her mandatory internship at Güner Law Office and then, she joined the Biçer & Güner team in November 2023 as an associate.

İrem is advising her clients on various areas of law including commercial law, corporate law, real estate law, media law, employment law and data protection law.

İrem has an excellent command of English.

The Advertisement Board, operating under the Ministry of Trade, reviewed 65 cases during its 357th session held on 15 May 2025. Following the evaluations, 56 of these cases were found to be in breach of the applicable legislation.

Following the ratification of the Paris Agreement in 2021, Türkiye announced its net- zero emission target for 2053 and took significant legislative steps to combat climate change and to establish a legal basis for greenhouse gas emission reduction and climate adaptation policies.

Decisions Taken at the Meeting of the Advertisement Board Dated April 17, 2025 and Numbered 356

The Advertisement Board, operating under the Ministry of Trade, reviewed 122 files at its 356th meeting held on 17 April 2025. As a result of the assessments, statutory violations were identified in 104 cases, leading to the imposition of administrative fines totaling TRY 22,705,799.

The 10th Judicial Reform Package Has Entered Into Force

The Law numbered 7550 on the Enforcement of Sentences and Security Measures and Amending Certain Laws, commonly referred to as the “10th Judicial Reform Package” in the public sphere, was published in the Official Gazette dated 4 June 2025 and numbered 32920, thereby entering into force.

New Regulation on Choice of Law in International Employment Contracts

Significant amendments have been introduced to Article 27 of the International Private and Procedural Law under the Law numbered 7550 on the Enforcement of Sentences and Security Measures and Amending Certain Laws, which entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette dated 4 June 2025 and numbered 32920.
