Mrs Murat graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2002. She started her career at a reputable law firm, where she worked until 2006. In 2007, she started to work as in-house counsel for one of the reputable holding companies in Türkiye for almost 17 years before joining our law firm. She was admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association in 2003.
Mrs. Murat has been involved in various mergers and acquisition transactions across a wide range of sectors. She was actively involved in due diligence processes, the drafting and negotiation of share sale and purchase agreements, shareholder and joint venture agreements, as well as other ancillary documents regarding the merger and acquisition transactions.
She takes part in the negotiation of the loan and related collateral documentation for obtaining loans from the various banks. She is involved in the initial public offerings of the companies and the preparation of the related documentation.
She regularly advises companies on corporate and commercial matters for their day-to-day activities, including the drafting, revision, and negotiation of their various types of contracts and their corporate maintenance work.
