We are seeking a talented and motivated Legal Counsel with up to 5 years of experience to join our Legal Department in our Istanbul office.

What You´ll Do

– Providing day-to-day legal advice and acting as a business partner to various Business Units (BUs). Ensuring the BUs receive practical and timely legal guidance on a range of matters, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, and regulatory issues.

– Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including sales agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements, ensuring that all terms are clear, fair, and in the company’s best interest.

– Assisting the corporate governance matters and corporate housekeeping

– Assisting in development and implementation of local policies and regulatory compliance programs, including compliance with Turkish Data Protection Law (KVKK) and Competition Law.

– Assisting in managing litigation, disputes, and potential claims, collaborating with external counsel to formulate effective strategies for dispute resolution and minimizing legal exposure.

– Providing practical, business-oriented solutions that align with corporate objectives and help facilitate smooth operations.

– Staying informed of industry trends and legal developments; and ensuring the company complies with relevant laws and regulations, and proactively identify legal risks to minimize exposure.

– Delivering training and legal guidance to non-legal teams, focusing on areas like contract law, employment law, regulatory compliance, and data protection.

– Organizing the operations of the Legal Department, and providing administrative support.
