Senior Associate/Associate (Transactions)

We are looking for a dynamic associate with 5+ years experience in reputable corporate transaction and projects teams.


The ideal candidate must have:

- a proven track record and a portfolio of large or innovative transactions/projects

- high level team player aptitudes with a focus on client service, integrity and quality of work product

- management skills both transactional and team

- in-depth knowledgeable of Turkish corporate and commercial law, infrastructure projects, M&A and/or finance

- specialist sector specific business and regulatory knowledge preferably in energy, real estate & construction, TMT, digital, infrastructure or financial services

 

Responsibilities include:

- Drafting and reviewing high-profile agreements

- Working in a team of highly skilled professionals      

- Playing an active role in all activities of the Corporate department

- Research and analyzing legislation on complex issues

- Reporting directly to the head of practice partner

- Maintaining relationships with clients and other stakeholders

- Staying ahead of sector-specific regulations, trends and developments

- Developing the skills and knowledge of the team

 

Qualifications:

- A solid academic record – an LLM from abroad is an advantage

- fluent written and spoken English

- minimum 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, infrastructure projects, M&A and/or finance, with specialist skills in one or more of the following – competition, disputes, capital markets or financial services

- superior problem-solving abilities

- strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train others

- project management skills
