EGE • ÇAKIRCA: A New Partnership Based on Complementary Expertise

Founded by Özlem Ege Polat, EGE Attorneys at Law has been providing legal services in areas such as energy law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance. The firm has recently entered a new phase by partnering with Tuna Çakırca and her team to establish EGE • ÇAKIRCA.

Tuna Çakırca has been working in the legal profession for nearly 20 years, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and technology law. She has advised clients from various sectors and has taken part in transactions involving private equity investments, IPOs, and cross-border corporate deals. She also is an expert in IT sector, regularly advising technology clients on all legal aspects of their businesses, including regulatory work, commercial contracts and negotiations, IP, litigation, employment and relationships with the governmental authorities. Her expertise also includes advising on payment products, Blockchain technology and initial coin offerings.  She continues to assist several multinational companies in their day-to-day businesses in such areas. Having worked as an associate at White & Case and Kinstellar in Istanbul and senior associate at Chadbourne & Parke (now Norton Rose) in Istanbul, Tuna was a partner at an Istanbul based law firm recognized by material international law firm rankings for a period of 10 years prior to forming EGE • ÇAKIRCA.

What is the vision that motivated you to enter into this partnership, and how do you envision the future of this collaboration?
