With over 15 years of experience in competition law, regulated industries, and compliance, Girgin has advised clients in various sectors such as telecommunications, FMCG, automotive, construction, media, and technology.

Girgin has represented numerous multinational and national companies before the Turkish Competition Board, administrative courts, and the Council of State regarding cartel and abuse of dominance investigations. He has also filed several M&A and negative clearance filings with the Turkish Competition Authority. As an in-house lawyer and outside counsel, Girgin has conducted comprehensive compliance programs on competition law, anti-corruption matters, and internal investigations.

Girgin earned his LL.B. from Başkent University in 2008 and his LL.M. in Law and Economics from Bilkent University in 2009. In 2015, he was awarded a Chevening Scholarship and completed his LL.M. in Competition Law at King's College London.

Girgin is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and is fluent in Turkish, English, and German. His expertise includes Competition & State Aid, Compliance, Risk & Sensitive Investigations, M&A, Corporate, and Private Equity.
