About This Opportunity

We are looking for a lawyer who will provide experienced legal services in the fields of Intellectual rights, advertising, contract law for 1 year.

Responsibilities

Provide legal services in all aspects including;

• Protecting and maintaining IP rights portfolio over 1500 assets (trademarks, patents, designs and other IP rights) owned by Evyap Group worldwide via third party trademark/patent offices.
• Monitoring trademark cancellation lawsuits, trademark registration lawsuits and actions against trademark and patent infringements in the world.
• Ensuring new trademark applications are done in line with IP Law.
• Drafting/ negotiating related IP agreements including co-existence, license agreements
• Reviewing new products and approval of the claims, designs and packaging.
• Preparing memorandums with respect to claims in advertisements in collaboration with Marketing Team.
• Preparing and drafting all kinds of contracts to the requirements of an FMCG Company. (e.g. sales/purchase, lease, marketing, distribution, sales channels contracts) to protect the company’s interests and maximize its profit potential in line with the legal compliance requirements;
• Analysis of Advertisement Law, Cosmetics Law and all other related regulations with respect to Evyap products where needed.
• Building defense strategies in case of a complaint is filed before the Ministry of Commerce / Advertising Self-Regulatory Board and preparing drafts of petitions to be served.

What You Will Bring

• University degree in Law from reputable law schools of Turkey.
• Advanced Level of English / ability to draft contracts and deliver opinions in English.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a lawyer preferably in an FMCG company or a law firm that has companies from FMCG sector in its portfolio;
• Special expertise in the area of IP Law, Contracts Law, Commercial Law is a must.
• Personal Data Protection Law, International Trade Law, Anti-Trust Law and experience in litigation practice is a plus.
• Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis situation.
