Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and pleadings.
  • Support senior lawyers in drafting and reviewing legal agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Attend meetings and hearings with clients, taking notes and providing assistance as needed.
  • Assist in case management activities, including organizing files, maintaining documentation, and managing deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to gather information for cases and prepare supporting materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal developments and changes in laws and regulations about our practice areas.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the legal team.
  • Verification of the compliance of legal processes and contract signing circulars, filing, listing, and ensuring archive management in both digital and physical formats.
  • Reviewing information and document requests related to cases/investigations conducted by official authorities, preparing response letters, facilitating their postal delivery, and ensuring their documentation, reporting, and archiving.
  • Monitoring and recording expenses and receipts from external offices, entering them into the system, and tracking them.
  • Coordinating communication between the legal department and law firms.
  • Filing, organizing, preparing, notifying relevant parties, reporting, and archiving all types of official notifications received by the company via various systems (registered electronic mail, internal document management system, postal mail, etc.), as well as those sent by the company.
  • Monitoring legal cases and enforcement files through the UYAP (National Judiciary Informatics System) and tracking court hearings.
  • Preparing legal case and enforcement reports and creating presentations within the legal department.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law; master’s degree in law is a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience (excluding internship) as an in-house practitioner or in a reputable law firm
  • Experience in the field of commercial law, corporate law, contracts law, competition law and data privacy law,
  • Experience in an international working environment
  • Knowledge of mergers & acquisitions is a must English (full professional proficiency at least)
  • Being practical business-minded, highly motivated, and results-oriented,
  • Self-discipline and attention to detail,
  • Flexible to manage multiple time-sensitive matters,
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Turkish and English.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Prior internships or experience in a law office is advantageous.
