Hasan Tahsin Azizagaoglu is Bench Walk Advisors’s Analyst and supports the team with internal due diligence, legal research, and case analyses. He oversees the due diligence process on proposed cases for funding, the negotiation of funding arrangements and the subsequent management of cases.
Hasan is a PhD candidate at the University of Southampton, where he completed his LLB (Hons) and LLM. His research interests are primarily in the fields of International Commercial Arbitration, Private International Law (the Conflict of Laws), Maritime Law, and Insurance Law. Hasan’s research focuses on the effects of exclusive jurisdiction agreements and arbitration clauses on third parties.
Prior to joining Bench Walk, Hasan was the coordinator of the Law Clinic at the University of Southampton, offering legal advice to university staff and students. He also worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Maritime Law.
