Prior to attending Bahçeşehir University, she graduated from one of UK’s leading colleges known as Ardingly College which was followed by her studies in Business Management. She is also seeking her LLM degree in International Maritime Law at the WMU (World Maritime University).

She specializes in shipping law, insurance, commercial law, litigation and law of contracts.

She works closely with Mr. Gur on all matters that may arise from Marine and International trade disputes. She is known for her prompt responses and her ability to solve matters.

Türkiye’de Deniz Kirliliği Cezalarına İlişkin Yeni Düzenleme

28 Aralık 2023 tarihinde Resmi Gazete'de yayımlanan idari para cezaları revize edilmiştir. Deniz kirliliğine yönelik yeni tedbirlerle birlikte, 2872 sayılı Çevre Kanunu'nun 20. maddesi uyarınca para cezaları artırıldığından, Türk kirlilikle mücadele yönetmeliklerini ihlal eden gemiler daha ağır cezalarla karşı karşıya kalmaktadır.

Current Pollution Administrative Fines

On 28 December 2023 the administrative fines have been revised and published in the Official Gazette. With the new measures for marine pollution the vessels that violate Turkish anti-pollution regulations face harsher penalties as the fines have been raised under article 20 of Environmental Code no:2872.

Cargo Shortage/Overlanding Claims in Turkish Jurisdiction
