Bensu Ayöz specializes in information technology, media, and entertainment law. She provides expert consultancy services to both domestic and international clients in matters related to e-commerce, information technology, data protection, information security, and intellectual and industrial property.
Ayöz engages in legal proceedings and prosecutions to safeguard her clients’ and intellectual property assets. In particular, she handles the submission of oppositions to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, gathers evidence to demonstrate use and drafts cease and desist letters. Moreover, she offers legal assistance to clients dealing with issues related to unfair competition, trademark violations, and cancellation lawsuits.
Additionally, Ayöz is involved in conducting compliance projects pertaining to the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
She holds an undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Law at Bilkent University and is currently pursuing a Master’s program in Intellectual Property Law through the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) at Ankara University.
