Zaman Özer is Senior Legal Counsel and among the leaders of the Dispute Resolution, Intellectual property, and Corporate Support practice groups at Hergüner Bilgen Üçer. She has over 25 years’ experience working as both in-house counsel and an external lawyer, including her work as a Patent and Trademark Attorney. Ms. Özer has significant experience with all types of disputes such as commercial law, family law, employment and labor, consumer, tax, IP, and administrative cases including white- and blue-collar crimes. She has represented companies during audits initiated by Tax and Customs Authorities and the Capital Markets Board and has participated in a sector study of Competition Authority on fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and other investigations. She also assisted the companies to establish and maintain a good corporate governance in line with local and EU legislation.
Thanks to her decades of experience and ability to understand the business priorities of our clients, she works seamlessly with C-level management and in-house teams. She represents our clients in various tax cases ended in favor of our client with precedent setting decisions.
