Job Description Summary
The EAGM International Trade Compliance (ITC) Lead is responsible for leading the EU and U.S. export and sanctions compliance programs (Russia, Belarus, Iran, Syria ) in the EAGM region and for providing the necessary support to GE HealthCare operations in EAGM on all aspects of international trade compliance. The ITC Lead will work closely with regional business partners, legal, compliance teams, global, and other ITC team members to ensure that trade compliance policies, procedures and training are in line with company standards. The ITC Lead will manage export and sanctions compliance in accordance with EU, U.S. and other country licenses and authorizations, and will be responsible for maintaining good relations with the licensing authorities. The ITC Lead will represent ITC in cross-functional teams and coordinate on trade compliance issues in the region and within product modalities.

Job Description
Essential responsibilities:
- Provide support and advice to operational teams to ensure compliance with export rules and sanctions regimes at local and European level.
- Work closely with business teams to compile the information needed for license applications; ensure timely submission and progress of license applications; coordinate licensed exports with operational teams.
- Proactively identify and communicate the impacts of evolving trade compliance regulations and policies to the commercial teams.
- Collaborate and advise business functions on trade compliance, particularly on issues arising from supply chain, production and service projects.
- Work with ITC team members as well as various business functions to develop, document and implement export compliance policies and procedures.
- Identify ITC risk areas and ensure that all necessary corrective actions are implemented.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Higher education B/A or M/A (legal preferred).
- 10+ experience in international trade compliance. (export, sanctions)
- Demonstrated expertise in EU and U.S. export controls and sanctions laws and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) for tariff classifications.
- Previous experience in the field of sanctions regimes and export control licensing in France and the U.S. Experience with export licensing within the EU and other countries is appreciated.
- Experience in managing compliance within an automated business system (such as Oracle GTM).
- Strong oral and written communication skills for all levels of the company.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
- Collaborative attitude, strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in parallel.
- Speaks fluent English; Russian desired.
