About the job

Kolcuoğlu Demirkan Koçaklı is seeking a qualified individual to fill the “IT Help Desk Specialist” position. The Help Desk Specialist will provide professional-level administrative and operational services in a high growth and dynamic business environment.

This position is office-based. The Help Desk Specialist will assist with various tasks including on-going support to the Firm's IT team and staff.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience,
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT Help Desk operations,
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English,
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems (ex: Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, MS One Drive, MS Teams), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance,
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems,
  • Excellent PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
  • Strong administrative skills with good attention to detail,
  • Exceptional planning and organization skills,
  • Strong time management skills,
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Positive and effective team-player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems,
  • Perform technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance,
  • Assist in IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, e-mail systems, laptops, desktops, software, hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security,
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory,
  • Answer questions and help employees, regarding software and hardware use; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed,Select and purchase new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary,
  • Assist and coordinate with other administrative staff,
  • Perform any other administrative duties as required by the Firm.
