With a distinguished career spanning over 15 years, Fatoş brings a wealth of legal expertise and versatile leadership to the Samsung Electronics team.
Prior to her current appointment, Fatoş served as the Legal Director at TAV Construction, where she played a significant role from January 2023 to September 2023. Her career also includes a distinguished tenure at Huawei, where she served as General Counsel for seven years. During her time at Huawei, she held key positions, including Principal Legal Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel, demonstrating her exceptional legal acumen.
Fatoş's legal expertise extends across various domains, including mergers and acquisitions, banking law, finance, commercial law, international trade, capital markets, construction law, labor law, real estate, aviation law, foreign investment, investments, tenders, and insurance law.
She earned her law degree from Marmara University in 2003. Complementing her academic achievements, Fatoş also demonstrated her commitment to ongoing learning by earning the Enterprise Counsel Development Project certification.
Fatoş's dedication and contributions to the legal field have earned her well-deserved recognition. In 2023, she was honored with the prestigious Legal 500 GC Powerlist Turkiye accolade. Additionally, her distinction as the Best GC in Huawei CEE & Nordic Region underscores her outstanding legal prowess.
