Yasar, the founding partner of Canpolat Legal, is a tech-savvy lawyer focusing on Data Protection, Information Technology, Payment, Fintech, Intellectual Property and E-commerce Law.
Prior to establishing Canpolat Legal, Yasar has worked for DERIS Intellectual Property Attorneys, a Tier 1 IP firm for a very long time wherein he had the chance to represent and advise IP practice groups of leading law firms of EU, US, and Japan as well as multinational companies in luxury, FMCG, chemical, automotive and pharmaceutical sectors on contentious IP matters and IP prosecution.
Following that, Yasar moved to The Interbank Card Center, the well-known Fintech company of Turkey, which has numerous FinTech products such as payment systems, digital wallet and card scheme. He had chance to get involved in numerous FinTech and Data Protection Compliance Projects as well as IT deals and PoCs.
Having technology literacy on emerging technologies such as Blockchain, AI, IoT and Cloud Computing, Yasar also has a vast experience in drafting software and technology procurement agreements.
