Türkiye Announces 2025 Investment Priorities

Anayasa Mahkemesi Kararı ile İnternet Kanunu Yeniden Şekilleniyor

5651 sayılı İnternet Ortamında Yapılan Yayınların Düzenlenmesi ve Bu Yayınlar Yoluyla İşlenen Suçlarla Mücadele Edilmesi Hakkında Kanun madde 8(4) ve (11)’i kısmen, madde 9’u ise tamamen iptal eden Anayasa Mahkemesi’nin 11 Ekim 2023 tarihli ve 2020/76 sayılı kararı 10 Ekim 2024 tarihinde yürürlüğe girdi.

Constitutional Court’s Decision Reshapes the Internet Law

On October 10, 2024, the Constitutional Court’s decision numbered 2020/76 and dated October 11, 2023, which partially annulled Article 8(4) and (11) and wholly annulled Article 9 of the Law on the Regulation of Internet Publications and Prevention of Crimes Committed through these Publications No. 5651, became effective.

Yapay Zeka Stratejisine İlişkin 2024-2025 Eylem Planı Yayımlandı

Dünya çapındaki gelişmelere paralel şekilde, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Cumhurbaşkanlığı Dijital Dönüşüm Ofisi ve Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı’nın iş birliğiyle, ülkemizin yapay zeka alanındaki faaliyetlerini ileriye taşımak ve bu alanda dünyadaki konumunu güçlendirmek amacıyla, çeşitli kamu, özel sektör ve sivil toplum kuruluşlarının da görüşleri doğrultusunda hazırlanmış olan Ulusal Yapay Zeka Stratejisi 2024-2025 Eylem Planı yayımlandı.

2024-2025 Action Plan on Artificial Intelligence Strategy Published

In line with the recent developments across the world, the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2024-2025 Action Plan (“Action Plan“) was published, prepared in cooperation with the Presidential Digital Transformation Office of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and in line with the opinions of various public and private actors and nongovernmental organizations (“NGOs“), to advance Türkiye’s framework on artificial intelligence practices and strengthen its global position in terms of artificial intelligence.
