Nigar Gökmen has been promoted from Senior Associate to Partner at Esin Attorney Partnership, a member firm of Baker McKenzie International, a Swiss Verein, provides clients with foreign and Turkish law advice. With over 150 professionals, including more than 100 lawyers, the firm has been providing legal services to major Turkish and multinational corporations.
Nigar will serve as Head of Energy, Mining & Infrastructure and Real Estate Practices. Her promotion to Partner is a testament to her legal expertise, particularly in energy law, project finance, public-private partnerships and infrastructure matters. Her extensive knowledge in these fields has earned her accolades, including being recognized as a "Notable Practitioner" and a "Rising Star" in the energy and projects/project finance sectors.
Throughout her career, Nigar has proven herself in handling complex legal matters related to project finance, public-private partnerships, and energy law. As Head of the Practice, she will play a pivotal role in advising multinational corporations on a broad spectrum of energy and infrastructure investment related matters, including regulatory compliance, transaction structuring, and dispute resolution.
